Maine Escape DAY 6.0 – Paint the Barn

DAY 6.0 – Paint the Barn

PREVIOUSLY – Maine Escape

Yesterday, at the Maine Escape, the basement was insulated, framed, and plumbed. The slate base went down for the Gas Stove in the Porch and the glass door replaced the storm door between the Porch & 1st Floor.

While the “shy” Electrician went to work putting in boxes and running wire, we got our helper started painting the Barn and some Brackets.

ELECTRICAL – Maine Escape

I mentioned the Electrician is a little shy, so we won’t see him in any photos. We’ve got some alternating between Plumbing and Electrical that needs to happen as they leap-frog each other for the next few days. Today was mostly laying out the groundwork and putting in the boxes where they need to go.

While this was going on I needed to cut a two 4 inch hole in through the sill plate for the Dryer Vent & Bathroom Vent.

NEW HELPER – Maine Escape

Today we got a new helper (Ethan) and he and Aiden set off, straight away, building the dock.

Tomorrow, Plumbing comes back to hook up the macerator pump to the lift station and install a new manifold.

Thanks for tuning in,
